We recently completed a bathroom renovation in Dorchester, MA, that involved framing repairs, upgrading plumbing, and installing a new shower system with custom tiling. The space was insulated with Rockwool for soundproofing and moisture control, and finished with Hardie Backer, Red Guard, and blue board for durability. The project was wrapped up with fresh Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint, and the customer was thoroughly satisfied with the transformation.
- Framing Repair:

- Subfloor Repair:

- Plumbing Installation:

- Insulation:

- Framing Bench:
- Frame and build a shower bench for comfort and convenience.
- Waterproofing:
- Installed Hardie Backer (cement board) on walls and floors in wet areas.
- Apply Red Guard waterproofing membrane to prevent water damage.
- Blue Board & Veneer Plaster:
- Use blue board with veneer plaster for any non-wet areas for a smooth and durable finish.
- Tile Installation:
- Installedl tiles in the shower and on the floor, ensuring proper layout and adhesion.
- Fixture Installation:
- Installed all fixtures, including the showerhead, faucets, and any other necessary hardware.
- Shower Door Installation:
- Installed the shower door to complete the enclosure.
- Painting:
- Apply 2 coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select paint to the bathroom walls and ceiling for a fresh, clean look.
- Final Steps:
- Complete the project with final touches and ensure the customer is satisfied.
